Initial information refers you to existing pages of the UNESCO-Biosphärenreservates Rhön . Apart from the topic of the biosphere reserve
and activities the peculiarities of nature in the Rhön are presented and it is an aim to preserve these. The Rhön is a secondary chain
of mountains and former border region in the federal states of Bavaria, Hesse and Thuringia.
The work of the Regionalen Arbeitsgemeinschaft Rhön documents the inter-state joint working in various fields. Information on the Rhönlandkreisen
but also on the Wirtschaftsraum and the Landwirtschaft in the region can be found in the Rhön portal. With the Zukunfts-Ticker Rhön
interesting Information is made public not only for regional developers.
